Bas Schneider playing upright bass on stage

Bas Schneider.

I'm a working musician. I play upright bass for a living — most often with TinyLittleBigband. I also build software, and at some point those two worlds met.

MNFSTmusic is the workshop where that work lives. Everything here is built by one person who needs these tools on stage.

03 — Two things I believe
01

It should be easier than this.

Most software for working musicians feels like it was designed by people who've never had to use it under stage lights. I started building because I kept thinking this can't be the best we've got. That frustration is the engine. If a feature doesn't make a real moment easier — a load-in, a last-minute setlist change, a sub showing up unprepared — it doesn't belong.

02

One thing, done properly.

I'd rather build one tool that bands trust than five they tolerate. syncMNFST is a one-trick pony for now, and that's deliberate. The fundamentals — real-time sync, clean UI, reliability when the venue WiFi dies — have to be rock-solid before anything gets added on top. Add-ons will come. The foundation comes first.

04 — In the workshop

One product live today. More in time — but only when they're ready.
